Knowing not just what needs to happen but how to make it happen is the stumbling block. Not knowing how to translate the impulse to help into a workable plan of action leaves people feeling powerless.

The Solution:

The Houses of Refuge Project, through Project Ministry, is the helping hand that will turn that impulse into action.

What We Do:

  • We provide organizational and operational expertise to community non-profits.
  • We resolve questions of resource acquisition, project planning, and mission development.
  • We help community non-profits foster cultures of teamwork and cooperation.
  • We help coommunity non-profits translate their bold ideas into successful actions.

Why it matters:

By building up operational and organizational skills and expertise among community non-profits, those groups are empowered to make meaningful changes directly in the communities they serve.
